Best Buy: Lenovo Legion 7i 16" 240Hz OLED Gaming Laptop - $2599

This laptop was released last year at USD $1,999, and it’s still generally sold at that price in the U.S.

The new-generation Legion 7a Gen 11 with the RTX 5060 (the highest GPU option currently available for this generation) was around CAD $2,650 on Perkopolis about two weeks ago. It’s now listed at CAD $3,964.

It looks like the older RAM/SSD inventory has been depleted, and prices may continue to rise. on the Lenovo Canada website, the Legion 7i Gen 10 is now CAD $4,097 in the Perkopolis store (I don’t remember what it was selling for two weeks ago).

I also checked U.S. pricing for the Gen 11, and it comes to about CAD $3,150 including tax. Prices there haven’t increased yet.

However, based on my research, the Gen 11 doesn’t offer a significant performance improvement. It seems AMD laptops have mostly just been getting new model numbers over the past 2–3 years and highest GPU option is the RTX 5060.

I’m not sure whether this is truly a hot deal or not, but for those who genuinely need one, this may be the last chance to get it at this price.

Just don’t buy it because you think, “It’s so cheap—I may never find this price again.”
