Freedom Mobile: BYOD $25 for 25GB CA/US/MX, 1GB Roam Beyond

First post here so be nice if I missed something.

Just received this winback email from Freedom, haven't been a customer of theirs for at least a year now.

Bringing your own device and using the Digital Discount reduces the typical plan price from $35 to $25.

Main downside seems to be plan starts at 10GB, and 15GB bonus data is added within 60 days?

Posting this since I am tempted to move to this for the long term play (price freeze), and the 1GB while low, still allows you to receive SMS/receive phone calls according to another thread even if your data is used up.
